ROOTED

Equal parts library and journal, Rooted is a free educational supplement to NuevaYorkinos with the aim of making accessible materials at the intersections of Latino and Caribbean culture, identity, politics, and society. Rooted provides resources sourced from across the internet, and will continue to be updated in order to build an ever-growing syllabus. Rooted also conducts interviews with New York City-based Latinos and Caribbean creatives across mediums in an interview series called Café con NuevaYorkinos. While NuevaYorkinos documents the past, Café con NuevaYorkinos seeks to celebrate the current drivers of change in our communities. For researchers, scholars, artists, and academics who would like to share their works on this platform, please contact us here.
