In April 2022, NuevaYorkinos began its partnership with The Lower Eastside Girls Club (LESGC), a community organization supporting young women and gender-expansive youth of color throughout New York City since 1996. In May 2023, NuevaYorkinos introduced RECUERDOS DE LO•I•SAI•DA//MEMORIES OF LO•I•SAI•DA, a Spring installation in LEGSC’s lobby showcasing stories from Lower East Side natives.
